Marjolein Markink

Marjolein Markink finished the Art Academy at Arnhem  (1993) and a few years later she was going to the Nautical College for ocean going sailing vessels at Enkhuizen (1999).She was working for 7 years on sea.
After that period she started again with her artwork. She designed special coffins in the form of a boat or from used wood.
The last years she makes a lot of artsculptures and installations.
She works mostly with wood and often she used hole trunks. Also she makes bronze sculptures and work on assignment.
